De Deur is a small village located near Vereeniging in Gauteng. It is located at the intersection of the R82 and R551. The region surrounding De Deur used to be dedicated to farms and some of that farmland still exists giving the village a rural feeling even though Vereeniging is a stones throw away.

It is known for its weekly flea market which attracts visitors from far afield. The flea market is held each Saturday at 290 Cross Road. In nearby Walkerville one can relax at the Caribbean Island Resort. The popular Gold Reef City is 21 km away and is definitely worth a visit.

There are a number of accommodation options in and around De Deur. If one is doing business in the Midvaal area it is well worth looking at De Deur as a base.
