The Wildebeest's Review of Caravan and Outdoor Life - Issue 625

The cover of the April 2014 issue of Caravan and Outdoor Life shows a picture of Addo elephants. The annoying thing is that there are more elephants in that picture than what I saw during my stay there. I suppose that’s how it is with visits to game parks. You never know what, or if, you are going to see.

The Addo article starts with another photo of masses of Addo elephants. To make it worse the caption for the picture says, “seeing a couple of hundred of these grey colossuses is what every Addo visitor dreams of.” Well, I am still dreaming. Despite my moans I enjoyed my stay at Addo and so did the author of this article. Whether you are camping or stay in hutted accommodation it is a great place to visit.

I enjoyed the review of the Jurgens Expo caravan. It is small but it packs a lot of features. There is also a bit of a behind the scenes look at the Sensations Caravan factory and an interview with the owners.

Of course there is much more to read so rush out and get a copy of this issue.
