It’s 2015, how quickly last year went by! Oh well, a new year brings with it the promise of new trips and experiences. Glancing at the letters page I find a letter about a sad topic that is being raised increasingly. It concerns equipment being stolen from campsites while the occupants are out game viewing. In this letter the author lost their camping chairs which they had left behind to reserve their spot while out driving in their RV. Please be aware of this and watch over your fellow camper’s equipment when they are not at their site.

I enjoyed the article on touring the Waterberg in a Maui Motorhome. I think that all would be motorhome buyers should rent one before taking the plunge. The motorhome used made the trip very comfortable. The author visited a whole list of places which just shows how much there is to do in the Waterberg.

If you have ever wondered about why one would want to visit the Karoo, then just take a look at the two-page spread featured on pages 34 and 35. The endless carpets of flowers are dazzling. If you then read the rest of the article, you will find plenty of other reasons to try a Karoo trip.
