The Wildebeest's Review of Wild Magazine Issue 19

The Wildebeest reviewing a book

I must admit that I look forward to receiving my copy of Wild Magazine. This issue features a great photo of a Roan Antelope, complete with Oxpecker, on the cover. Let’s see what’s inside.

The article on the Agulhas National Park features plenty of stunning photography. It just shows that there is plenty of interest to see and photograph without having any big game.

From a coastal reserve we head off to Swaziland for an article on Mlilwane which is described as “a paradise for active outdoor enthusiasts.” There are also reviews of Hlane Royal National Park and Mkhaya Game Reserve. I haven’t been to Swaziland but here are three good reasons to do so.

Next up is an article on Roan Antelope. These beautiful animals are unfortunately not common in South Africa. A very interesting article indeed.

This issue of Wild magazine is packed with many other bits and pieces and provides a couple of hours of good reading.
