The Wildebeest's Review of Caravan and Outdoor Life - Issue 650

I like the look of the latest issue of Caravan and Outdoor Life magazine. According to the cover it features reviews of 9 caravan parks which, I must admit, is my favourite part of the magazine.

The feature article is about Bela-Bela, a place that is within easy reach of Gauteng residents. The reviewer had a rather hectic schedule of staying at six resorts in 8 days. Resorts visited were Waterberg Resort, Warmbaths, Forever Resort, Bosfontein Caravan Resort, Bush Baby, Klein Paradys and Silver Rocks Caravan Park.

As promised by the cover there are plenty of reviews of resorts so one can dream about or plan their next trips. The “Blast from the Past” feature put a smile on my face. It featured a copy of the magazine from 1965. Things have changed yet stayed the same.

All in all this issue was the usual good read and, as the Blast from the Past shows the magazine has kept its winning recipe for many, many years.
