The December 2015 issue of Caravan and Outdoor Life contains a variety of articles including ones on Cullinan, Kosi Bay, Hartenbos and more.

Let’s start with the Cullinan article. I am quite familiar with the Cullinan area which is why the two-page photo at the start of the article confused me. Where was that taken? It turns out it s a formerly private campsite that was used by mine employees. It is now open to the public and looks worth a visit. There are plenty of other places mentioned in and around Cullinan with the big benefit being they are closed to Pretoria and Johannesburg. If you want to experience something a bit different then leave your caravan at home and stay at the hotel. Just remember that different is not always good!

The ATKV Resort at Hartenbos looks like an ideal resort for a seaside family vacation. This review is followed by one on the Bush Lapa Ratel 4 off-road caravan. I am always impressed by the design of these caravans. Things seem to pop out the caravan in all directions. It has so much going on that you are bound to have a relaxing stay in it.

Lastly, I enjoyed the article on a trip from Somerset West to Kosi Bay and back. That is one long trip and is bound to provide plenty of happy memories.
