The Wildebeest's Review of Caravan and Outdoor Life - Issue 692
A great photo of a leopard adorns the cover of the latest issue of “Caravan and Outdoor Life.” The focus this month is on bushveld getaways.
The first article that I read is on Riverside Paradise Caravan Park in Gauteng. It looks like a basic site on the banks of the Elands River. It looks to me like a great spot for birding and it isn’t too far away so I will definitely spend a weekend or so there.
Eagle Falls Country Lodge, near Uniondale, is also reviewed. Although it is not located in the bushveld it looks like the surrounding countryside is very scenic.
As always there are reviews of new caravans and trailers. It is interesting how popular the pop-up trailer tents are becoming. The price of some of these clever bits of engineering is approach the price of an entry level caravan!
