The Wildebeest's Review of Wild Magazine - Issue 11

The Winter 2010 issue of Wild Magazine has arrived so let’s have a look what is inside. The stunning picture of a lion on the cover gives a clue on what one can expect in this issue.
As expected, there are a number of articles and mentions of Lions littered throughout the magazine. I enjoyed the rather long section on the best parks to go to for various activities. For example, Ndumo is recommended for birding, Kgalagadi for 4x4s and Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary in Swaziland as the best value for money.
There are some great photos and stories in the section entitled “Predator meets prey.” Some sensitive readers may want to skip past this section!
The article on Peace Parks, that straddle borders between countries, is a good read and makes you realise what can be achieved in the name of conservation.
Overall, this is another great issue of Wild Magazine. If you aren’t getting it, then you are missing out!
