The Wildebeest's Review of "go! Issue 155"
Regular readers of my reviews may have noticed that I concentrate on South African destinations, and this is intentional. It is not my intention to say that South Africa is a better country to visit than our northern neighbours, but I am devoted to travelling around South Africa, at this point in my life anyway.
Having said that the main article in the latest edition of go! Magazine focuses on the Caprivi. As it happens, I have done some birding in the Caprivi and have fond memories of it. If you get a chance, then go and visit it. You won’t be sorry.
The Karoo National Park is an amazing place and the article on it does it justice. Suggestions of what you can do in the park include driving on a 4x4 trail (particularly good if you have a 4x4), walking on the fossil trail, birding and of course, just go on a game drive.
As always, this edition of go! Magazine is packed with other informative articles on food, gear, places to stay and, of course, places to visit.
