The Wildebeest's Review of "go! Issue 169"
This issue gets you in the travelling mood with articles on the Rwenzori Mountains, Lesotho, Cape Point and, as the cover shows, Botswana. I particularly enjoyed the article on the Barn Owl. I personally don’t see myself snorkelling anytime soon but there are apparently some amazing diving sites on the Cape Peninsula. Another article that caught my attention is the one on “The horseman of Semonkong.” The photographs are just stunning. Those of you planning a Botswana trip should make sure you get hold of a copy of this issue as the article on 13 days in Moremi and Chobe is going to give you lots of advice and inspiration.
As always there are some tasty looking recipes and this month the focus is on cookies. You can’t go touring without a good supply of cookies! That’s my opinion anyway. There’s a wide variety of cookie recipes in this edition. Car lovers can read about the Alpha Romeo Stelvio SUV which looks a beautiful car, but I wouldn’t think that it deserves a place in a travel magazine. And don’t even look at the price!
