This issue of Getaway promises 173 travel ideas for 2019 which sounds interesting. There should be something for everyone!

It took me a while to find the travel ideas in the magazine. They start out at page 68 and are nicely organised in ideas per month. For example, in May the article suggests that you go road-tripping in the Golden Gate National Park and beyond, tour the KZN battlefields route, do a wilderness trail in Kruger, go to Mauritius and more.

I like the article on Sunday drives in your city. Do people still do that with the price of petrol? This article is followed up on one about diving in kelp forests. If you have the spare money and are feeling energetic then read the article on a five-day trek in a Columbian jungle. What an adventure that would be.

Now I need to start checking my diary and bank balance to see what I can do in 2019.
