The Wildebeest's Review of SA Country Life Issue 285

The cover of this months SA Country Life depicts a signpost pointing to the Karoo Moon Motel. That sounds like an interesting place to stay. The article covers Route 62 which runs through the Klein Karoo. From old jails converted into luxury accommodation to Ostrich farms to mountain passes. This piece covers a lot of ground.
Arty people will be itching to visit Bathurst after reading the article on the Bathurst Art Route. I was more drawn to the article on the Dolphin Trail along Tsitsikamma coastline. Next up I read about birding on the Waterberg plateau in Namibia. It is followed by an interesting piece on the Rust de Winter Dam which is within easy reach of Pretoria and Johannesburg.
If you love ducks, then you will be in heaven reading about the Indian Runner Ducks at the Vergenoegd Low wine estate. An assortment of good articles rounds off another great issue of SA Country Life Magazine.
