The Wildebeest's Review of "African Wildlife - Vol 36 No 2"
If African Wildlife was a magazine that relied on its cover photo for sales, then this issue would flop badly. I think that most people find snakes eating or killing prey unsettling. Lucky for the organisation that most people are subscribers but have no choice but to read the magazine.
The article on “Marine Mammals and Humanity” was interesting but it was followed up by more disconcerting photos. In this case it was the slaughter of dolphins on Iki Island which is part of Japan.
Other articles include one on Nelson’s Kop, in the Free State, Elephants in Kruger and Tropicbirds.
By the way, I think that I am going to tear off the cover of this issue.
