The Wildebeest's Review of "African Wildlife - Vol 44 No 4"

The Wildebeest reviewing a book

This issue of African Wildlife is a “Botswana Special” according to the cover. The first few pages of the magazine paint a disturbing picture of the threats placed by humans on Africa’s Eden. Up next are a couple of articles explaining why Botswana is still a great place to visit. These articles are illustrated with great images of a variety of wildlife.

I enjoyed the article on the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. It is a pity that this area is so challenging to visit with 4x4 a necessity and going with more than one vehicle is strongly recommended.

Of course, no publication on Botswana cannot have a sprinkling of articles on the Okavango Delta and this magazine is no exception. The delta is the jewel in Botswana’s crown and is a must-see attraction when visiting this country.
