The small coastal town of Blythedale Beach is situated around 70 km from Durban and 7 km from KwaDukuza.

Blythedale Beach has a beautiful stretch of unspoilt beach and is a good place for a relaxed vacation. One can spend time sitting on the beach keeping an eye out for dolphins and whales or swim in the designated area which is protected by lifeguards and shark-nets. The beach is also popular for jet-skiing, fishing and ski-boating.

Other activities in the area include bird-watching, golf and exploring the historical sites in nearby KwaDukuza.

There are a wide variety of accommodation types available in Blythesdale Beach including bed and breakfast establishments, self-catering accommodation and duplexes and houses to rent.
