The Wildebeest's Review of Wild Magazine Issue 33

It’s summer again and that means that the Summer edition of Wild Magazine is now available to Wild Card members. This magazine is one of the many benefits of being a Wild Card holder.
The first article that caught my attention was “Super Survivor” about African Black Oystercatchers. These are handsome birds that I must admit that I haven’t seen too often. This article is followed by a lengthy one on the Garden Route National Park that is accompanied by some stunning photographs.
You wouldn’t consider a Caracal as an urban creature, but they are apparently visitors to some of Cape Town’s suburbs, sometimes with fatal consequences. I also found the photography article useful and plan to use some of the tips on my next trip to Kruger.
Another good read and I now have to wait until Autumn for the next issue.
