The Wildebeest's review of Wild Magazine Issue 22

This month’s issue of Wild magazine is titled “the rugged and remote issue.” Let’s see where it takes us. First up is the Karoo National Park which starts with a beautiful photo of two young ladies sitting on the edge of a cliff and looking out at the endless plains below them. This a quietly beautiful part of our country and deserves at least one visit in your lifetime.

Next up is the Camdeboo National Park which is a bit more rugged than the Karoo National Park. Don’t miss the opportunity to look out over the Valley of Desolation!

The Mountain Zebra National Park is also featured. This well-stocked reserve is a beautiful place to stay. It is followed by Anysberg Nature Reserve which is “best for spectacular stargazing.” The authors personal view is that Anysberg has the greatest sense of wilderness. I will have to put it to the test!

Yip, I enjoyed this issue of Wild magazine as much as I enjoy all the others. It’s a pity it’s only a quarterly magazine...
