The Wildebeest's Review of Caravan and Outdoor Life - Issue 660
The cover of this month’s issue of Caravan and Outdoor Life has a small headline that will surprise a lot of caravan enthusiasts. It announces that Jurgens has been sold. Jurgens has been a go to brand for so many years that it is hard to think of a caravan showroom without them. I hope that the new owners do the brand justice.
The feature article in this issue is on the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve in the Western Cape. This article features great photographs that will get you interested in visiting this area. There are so many places to visit, and resorts to stay at, so it is a trip that you could easily do more than once.
A review of Gatsrivier Holiday Farm, also in the Western Cape, follows. The scenery is far more rugged than that of the Kogelberg but it seems a good place to visit. Next up we switch to the far-eastern region of South Africa for a review of De Voetpadkloof in Mpumalanga. The resort is well off the beaten track being near Loskop.
