The Wildebeest's Review of SA Country Life Issue 261
The April issue of South African Country Life is out and I am keen to see what articles are included in this month’s issue. The magazine kicks off with quite a few pages of news snippets, letters and other bits and pieces followed by the Image Club. I really like the photo of the cattle making their way through a dusty landscape. That would look great if it was enlarged and framed.
There is a great article on the charming town of Barrydale. I haven’t yet been to Barrydale but it does look like a great place to spend a few days so that you can fully explore the town. Next it is off on a trip from Swakopmund to Sossuvlei which features some great photos of the desert.
The article titled “A Classic Conservation Story” makes very interesting reading and provides food for thought on water conservation. From conservation we go to breeding Alpacas at Villiersdorp. Apparently, they have much sought after fleece which is why they are being farmed more and more.
Another interesting issue has arrived and been read. Can’t wait for next month.
