It’s coming up for winter so where does the latest issue of Caravan and Outdoor Life recommend that we visit to escape the winter chill. According to the cover Mbombela is an all-year-round paradise.

I turn to the article on Mbombela and notice that the map shows Mbombela to be in Gauteng. I wish it was as it would bring Kruger National Park a lot closer to me. Mbombela has plenty to keep you occupied on a stay in the area. It features golf courses, football and rugby matches, Sudwala Caves, concerts and more.

The article on the Caravan Show held at Gallagher Estate proves that the outdoor industry is alive and well in South Africa. What a great selection of equipment was on show.

Two Western Cape resorts are featured this month. Both are scenic and look very tranquil. They were Slanghoek Mountain Resort and Doringlaagte Camping and Chalets. Both of them look like they are worth a visit.
