The Wildebeest's Review of "Wild Magazine - Issue 45"

The Wildebeest reviewing a book

The cover of this month’s issue of Wild magazine features a Cheetah trying to hold down a bemused looking Red Hartebeest. The cover refers you to an article entitled “Survivors” which is quite interesting. It also features another photograph of the Cheetah perched on the Hartebeest.

As usual there are a couple of articles about Kruger National Park. One is on backpacking trails in the park and the other is on guides in the Pafuri region. The article titled “Wet and Wild” describes the opportunities for swimming at certain parks. These include pools and dams, and they are a good way to escape the intense summer heat.

Marabou Storks can hardly be described as beautiful! In fact, in the article “Pretty Awesome” they are described as “large, bad-tempered and rather ugly.” Shame. You can learn all about them in this piece.

As usual this is another great issue of this magazine, and I wouldn’t expect anything less from the next one.
