It’s coming up to spring flower time and I hope that you have planned your trip and booked your accommodation! If you haven’t then go! Magazine Issue 158 has some recommendations for you. I just hope that you are not too late.

The main article focuses on the town of Nieuwoudtville and it comes with some advice to stay in this town and explore the surrounding area, rather than dashing off from place to place. Tips are given on great places to stay and where to visit in the surrounding area.

I enjoyed the article on the Mountain Zebra National Park. This reserve is well-stocked with a variety of game and is very scenic. A stay in one of the chalets is definitely recommended. It is followed up by an article on the “People of the North” which is a different sort of travel article. The “north” in question is the North Coast of KZN.

As usual the “Reader Photos” section is filled with great photographs. Well done to all you photographers out there!
