Zosterops pallidus

The Cape White-eye is only found in southern Africa.

They get their name from the ring of white feathers around their eyes.

Small to medium size flocks of Cape White-eyes may be found in gardens with suitable trees as well as their natural woodland habitats.

Cape White-eyes feed on a variety of foods including insects, fruit flowers and some seeds.

They make their nests in trees and lay 2 or 3 bluish eggs.
