The Caledon Wild Flower Reserve, situated next to the town of Caledon, is known by a number of names including Caledon Botanical Gardens and Venster Kloof Botanical Gardens. "Venster Kloof" is the Afrikaans name for a rock in the area that looks like a window.

The reserve is well-known for its collection of indigenous plants and trees, including many species of fynbos.

A number of species of birds have been recorded in the gardens. One can also hike through the nature reserve that borders the gardens.

In September each year the gardens host a flower show.

Have you been here? How was it?
