Ephippiorhynchus senegalensis
The Saddle-billed Stork is a big bird that stands up to 1.5 metres tall. Males are typically bigger than females. Males have yellow wattles while females have yellow eyes.
This stork is found across much of sub-Saharan Africa.
The Saddle-billed Stork is normally found by water where it hunts fish, crabs and frogs.
They make their nest in a tree. It is a large structure made of twigs and the female lays either one or two eggs. The egg takes around a month to hatch.
