Malelane Camp is a small camp situated close to Malelane Gate at the south-western corner of the park. It is a satellite camp to Berg-en-dal. The camp features large trees and lawns.

Being a small camp it does not have shops and other facilities so visitors need to bring their own provisions or shop at nearby Berg-en-dal Camp.

Although this camp is quiet and more intimate it has the disadvantage of being so close to the border of the park that outside noises are heard.

There is both hutted accommodation and camping sites available. There is no reception facilities at Malelane Camp so you need to check in at Malelane Gate.

The tar road between Malelane Camp and Berg-en-dal gives one reasonable opportunities to see Lion and Leopard. The dirt road that follows the Crocodile River can, at times, be good for game viewing and one often encounters large herds of Buffalo making their way too and from the river.
