The town of Kuruman has around 15,000 inhabitants and is located in the north-eastern region of the Northern Cape province of South Africa.
Kuruman is well-known for its springs called "The Eye of Kuruman".
Unlike most towns in the Northern Cape province Kuruman has a slightly milder climate and has more vegetation.
Some of the tourist attractions in the surrounding area include the Eye of Kuruman, Moffat Mission and the Wonderwerk Cave.
