Interesting facts about Nyala
Both male and female Nyala are amongst the most beautiful of antelope. The male is handsome in his shaggy chocolate brown coat while the female is a rich brown colour with white stripes and spots. Only males have horns.
Nyala can be quite shy. They prefer areas of thick bush.
Their diet consists of leaves, fruit and other foliage.
Nyalas are often seen in small herds. Males tend to be alone or in small groups.
