A wonderful photo of a Leopard graces the cover of the Autumn 2012 issue of Wild magazine. Seems like predators are the flavour of the month as the cover mentions articles on Leopards, Lions and Cheetahs.

The first of these articles that I come across is about Cheetahs in the Mountain Zebra National Park. It is a great article on tracking these beautiful cats in the park as well as mentions of the many other species to be encountered in the park. If you like Cheetahs, then you are in luck as the afore mentioned article is followed by one on Cheetahs in the Kgalagadi. The photo’s accompanying this article art stunning.

As promised on the cover there are articles on Leopards and Lions as well. Both are interesting reads with great photos.

Other articles worth reading include the one on frog calls and birding in Kruger Park camp sites. Yet another high quality issue of this great magazine.
