The Wildebeest's Review of "The Chamberlain Guide to Birding Gauteng"

This book is a dream come true for any birder based in, or visiting, Gauteng. It lists 101 birding sites in the province, and it is important to note that Gauteng is the most heavily populated province in South Africa.

Birders, like me, love books like this. You can plan trips to places you haven’t been to and dream about the fantastic sightings that you may have!

The book describes 101 places in the province including very well-known ones and many lesser-known ones. It contains photos, maps and a ton of information. If I have one complaint it is the small font size. The text is tiny!

In closing I must compliment hardware store Chamberlain. This is not the first book that they have sponsored, and I am sure that it won’t be the last. It is a great book, and it has sold out rather quickly. Second-hand copies are already being offered at a premium.
